Jim Tregenza – CEO
Mr. Jim Tregenza was appointed the company’s chief executive officer on May 20, 2020. Jim is a 20 year veteran of the tubular products industry having served as general manager at US Steel, senior vice president of operations at Stupp Corporation and chief operations officer at TMK IPSCO and in various technical and management roles making large diameter spiral welded pipe (HSAW) and large diameter ERW pipe for gas transmission pipe lines for IPSCO in western Canada. Mr. Tregenza received his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering and his MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University.
Bob Horsfield – VP & CFO
Mr. Bob Horsfield was one of the founding members of Boomerang in 2008 and has served as vice president and chief financial officer since that time. Previously, Bob had a 30-year career in the banking industry. Most recently, Bob served as executive vice president of National Corporate Banking for US Bank Corporation where he had nationwide responsibility for $25 billion in assets. Bob received his BA from Ohio Wesleyan University and his MBA from Seton Hall University. He has served on boards for The St. Louis YMCA, the St. Louis Science Center, and Edgewood Children’s Center.
Kelly Hanlon – VP of Sales and Marketing
Ms. Kelly Hanlon joined Boomerang Tube in 2010 as director of sales and was promoted to vice president of sales and marketing in 2014. Kelly is responsible for the sales of Oil Country Tubular Goods and possesses 20 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Boomerang Tube, Kelly held sales and management positions with Maverick Tube Corporation and Tenaris Inc. Ms. Hanlon holds a Bachelor of Psychology from Maryville University in St. Louis.
Telmo Souza – Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Telmo Souza was appointed the company’s chief technical officer effective April 2020. Telmo is a 14 year veteran of the OCTG industry having served as chief technical officer of seamless tubular products for Arcelor Mittal, director of quality and technical services of seamless tubular products for TMK IPSCO and in various management and supervisory roles within the tubular products industry. Telmo received his IMP degree from the Stockholm School of Economics IFL Executive Education, his MBA in Finance and International business from Saint Mary’s University and his M.Sc. degree from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
